And for the first time, experimental and observable science reveals his existence. Throughout history, many have argued the existence of God, yet discussions of the Divine have been limited to the realm of philosophy and religion. But what if nature could reveal its creator? And what if science could provide compelling evidences that we have never seen before? What if the identity of the creator behind the origin of our universe can be known for certain? What if... "God Made This/Dieu a fait ceci" is an English/French bilingual book for children. This is Volume 5 in the series and this is Level 1 for infants to toddlers. The books in this juvenile non-fiction series are intended to teach reading in two languages; they are not "story" books. This book includes single words and pairs of words for the ear training of infants as well as toddlers. The pictures help infants associate sounds with symbols--images at first and ultimately words at the toddler level and beyond. Toddlers will be able to repeat words, word pairs, phrases, and brief sentences aided by the picture cues. They will gradually be able to read the words using the printed word as their cue. This volume presents images of the natural world around us and are of high interest to young children. The natural environment, earth, sky, water features, animals, flowers, fruits, vegetables, and a variety of types of people are included. The book teaches that "God made this." Color photos and illustrations were carefully selected to captivate your child's interest. Words and sentences were judiciously chosen and crafted to facilitate learning for both age groups. Words are re-entered throughout the book to help your child feel a sense of accomplishment. It is suggested that only one language be read at a time. Start with the child's first or "maternal" language for several reading sessions, then introduce the second language. At no time should the two languages be read during the same session. This volume should be of interest to English speakers who want to teach their child(ren) French as well as French speakers who wish to teach their child(ren) English. In addition, speakers of other languages will find the book useful for teaching their child(ren) both French and English. The books are ideal for day care centers, preschools, and elementary schools that offer or wish to include bilingual education or ESL in their educatio

Many Catholic parents are tempted to leave the religious education and spiritual formation of their children up to their parish or Catholic school. Professional catechist, popular blogger, and father of two, Marc Cardaronella has a passionate plea for those parents: be your child’s primary educator in the faith by what you do and say. This practical guide gives parents what they need to be a bigger partner in handing on the faith to their children by creating a faith-nurturing environment at home. When Marc Cardaronella started his job as a catechist, he could empathize with parents who came to him to talk about how their now-grown children had left the Church because he had been there: Despite years of religious education and regular Mass attendance, Cardaronella never really practiced his faith. He fell away from the Church right after his Confirmation and stayed away for twenty years. Now it’s his mission to equip families like yours to hand on your faith. His passionate message is that the kind of faith formation children need is not taught in standard religious education classes and probably never will be. Cardaronella is on a quest to help you fill the gaps by first strengthening your own faith—opening your heart to God, practicing trust, clearing away obstacles to God’s grace, and creating regular prayer and study routines at home. He gives you the tools to pass that faith on to your kids and make it stick by teaching you how to pray with your children consistently, about adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the power of the Examen prayer, and how to motivate your kids to be engaged in parish life and Christian outreach. Keep Your Kids Catholic offers equal shares of inspiration, challenge, and practical advice. Each chapter includes Reflect, Pray, and Live sections to help you integrate Cardaronella’s message into family life.

Born and reared in jackson tenn. One of five siblings. Father deceased when age 2 and mother pregnant with little brother. Mother married again and had two children. Delphia married childhood sweet heart and after six years divorced due to his problems with alcohol. She is now divorced and a mother. I am a born again believer who loves God and his people. I ACCEPTED Jesus as my lord and savior at age 14 approximately, was baptised. Later studied jehovah’s witness, hinduism. Latter day saints trying to find what I could 100% believe in. Never understanding why I couldn't see God. Why he wouldn't talk to me and prove to me he was the only true and living God. Then I began to have an affair with a man. I cared for him and he cared for me. I wanted to be intimate with him although believing it was wrong per the scripture because we were not married. So I went to the VA hospital chapel in Johnson city tenn where I was in a premedical matriculation program. I knelt at the altar and prayed. I told God that I wanted to have sexual relations with him. I did not think it should be wrong because we cared for each other. Well. GOD ANSWERED ME RIGHT THEN. All of a sudden I saw the most beautiful meadow and the sky was so beautiful. I then heard a voice that sounded like low rolling thunder. He said choose ye this day what God you will serve. When I awakened I was lying on the floor. I started crying for a number of reasons: first I heard the voice of God, second he answered me right away letting me know he was listening and concerned about little ol me and third I was scared to death I both loved and feared God. I knew he was not to be played with but to be loved and respected. He does not play. I also learned he loves us enough to give us time to come to our senses and start to love the one who loves us so much but also its dangerous to get on the wrong side of God. That day I knew he would me my God forever. I am not perfect.
